DELHI: Of all the rumours leading up to the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 7,
one of the most persistent was the phablet coming out with a whole 6GB of RAM.
Now that the newest Note phablet is out, everyone knows that it has 4GB of RAM.
Or does it?
It
has been found that there indeed exists a Galaxy Note 7 variant with 6GB RAM as
it has been listed on a certification website in China. What's more surprising
is that the particular device houses 128GB inbuilt storage. Samsung while
announcing the Galaxy Note 7 confirmed that the model includes 64GB of storage
space.
Listed
on Chinese certification website Tenna, the particular Samsung Galaxy Note 7
model with 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage will support dual-SIM setup. It
will most likely feature a hybrid SIM/microSD tray. Nothing else is known for
now.
In
a separate leak, another Samsung smartphone codenamed SM-N9300 is seen listed
on Geekbench. The handset is said to be the Galaxy Note 7 and features 6GB RAM.
The
listing additionally shows Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor under-the-hood.
Although
Samsung has not yet confirmed about the variant, these certification website
and testing website results do indicate the company is definitely working on
it.
For
now, Samsung will be selling its Galaxy Note 7 in two processor variants. Based
on different markets, the device will come with an octa-core Exynos 8890
processor or the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, both clubbed with
4GB RAM.
Some
of the other features included in the Galaxy Note 7 are 5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560
pixels) Super Amoled display, 12MP 'Dual Pixel' rear camera, 5MP front-facing
camera , 4G LTE, and 3500mAh battery.
The
Galaxy Note 7 also comes with the company's Knox software clubbed with
biometric authentication and iris scanning feature for enhanced security.
